The mission of LifeLink International is simple. Show the love of Jesus through acts of compassion. One of our core values is "people don't care what you know until they know that you care".
By increasing the quality of life through things like introducing running water, offering medical clinics, and establishing an education facility, we are able to introduce the love of Jesus in a way that is relevent to the people.
Mike and Deborah Turner are known for their passion of providing help, hope and opportunity to those in need. Mike can often be heard saying, “The gift of opportunity becomes the gift of a lifetime.”
Mike and Deborah began ministry in the inner city streets of Jacksonville, FL, later pioneered a Bible School in St. Louis, MO and served as senior pastors of two churches.
The Turners served seven years as missionaries to Guatemala. While in Guatemala they developed an on-the-field missionary training program and ministry base, and established community development, health and education ministry projects.
Mike served three years as mission pastor and ministry training director at a large multi-cultural church with a representation of over 100 nations worldwide in Atlanta, GA.
Founded in 2002 by Mike and Deborah, LifeLink International quickly grew to include ministry in Nicaragua. Today LifeLink International is considered a true leader in the community and is highly regarded in the areas they work.
The Turners are both graduates of Christ to the World Bible College. Mike further holds credentials as M.Min.in Counseling and D.Min.in Missiology from Covington Theological Seminary.
Mike and Deborah celebrate more than 39 years of marriage; have two adult children and three amazing grandchildren.
As founders and directors of LifeLink International, Mike and Deborah are passionate about world missions. Together they enjoy working to create change and opportunity for those less fortunate and helping others to know the love of Christ through their work.
Having served in ministry for over 30 years, Mike and Deborah love sharing and imparting their personal life experiences to others. The LifeLink International slogan, Linking people changing lives one person at a time is at the heart of their service.

ministry
Our short term trips are designed to make your valuable time off from work, school, and everyday life count for eternity. These "vacations with a purpose" are also designed to afford opportunities for churches, youth groups, business groups and individuals to experience short term excursions through the valuable knowledge of trained missionaries.
These trips work in three main areas of evangelism: construction, medical, conferences. Click the menu options to learn more about the specifics.
We offer two main kinds of trips. Trips with groups of ten or more, and smaller, exploratory trips for shorter visits.

Conferences are a great way to reach out to a community. The LifeLink education facility is a perfect spot to hold a meeting to educate and minister to people. Women's conferences, men's conferences, couples, or childrens ministry, all are invaluable to the surrounding people and provide a long term effect for all involved.
For more information, please contact us.
Having a health or dental clinic is a great way to fill an immediate need to the community. We will typically have 150 - 200 patients come through for help. The people in the community need medical supplies and help. With your help, children and parents will feel better and be healthier.
LifeLink has taken the task of building a place of opportunity and hope. We are currently building a school that will be made available to the poorest and least priviledged children in the area.
The construction process is ongoing, and we welcome groups to come and help. Before you arrive we will have a project ready for you. The gift of your skills and time is appreciated greatly, not only by us, but also by the community.
We will meet with your team leader before your departure to ensure that your project fits your skill sets.
There are hundreds of children in the community and they all need a little extra love. We can give it to them by having special days just for them.
With sports days, lice clinics, movie nights or anything else you can think of, we can introduce the love of Jesus in a way that is relevent to them.
Children's ministry trips are great for youth groups and any other group that wants to minister first hand.
For some people, a short term trip just isn't enough. Some people feel the call on their hearts to move into long term missions. For people that feel God tugging on their heart, LifeLink International offers Missionary Training.
Missionary Training is an 8-week course that focuses on the practical part of missions. It prepares you to be ready for the challenges of living in another country, teaches you how to communicate effectivley and reveals to you the strongest parts of yourself and how to apply them to the field.
The Missionary Training Course is taught by veteran missionaries Mike and Deborah Turner. With 13 years of missionary experience, church planting, and degrees in counseling, they are ready to pass on volumes of knowledge to help prepare you for your missionary carreer.
