212 Youth Rock Nicaragua!
In mid-June 2012, Victory World Church in Atlanta, GA sent a group from their 212 Youth Ministry to serve the people of Nicaragua with LifeLink International. Hosted by missionaries Mike & Deborah Turner, along with the LifeLink team, this amazing group of 14, with an age range of 12 to 32, brought their creativity to help share the love of God.
The group put on Youth Rallies at churches across the city, complete with songs, dramas, games and a message for the youth of Nicaragua. It was exciting to see how engaged each church was!
During the day, the team worked hard to help us continue with the construction of the Primary School Bathrooms, keep the grounds in good repair and prepare for the installation of our new office air conditioner.
They also spent TONS of time loving on and playing with the students of Centro Escolar LifeLink. Their youthful amounts of energy were put to good use during recess, PE class and in the classrooms.
It was a life-changing week for the youth from Atlanta and an inspiring week for our kids in Nicaragua. Thank you to everyone who was a part of making this trip a reality, Pastor Stephen Hattaway, 212 Youth Ministry and Victory World Church! We hope to see you back in Nica next summer!
