The Victory World Church Family Trip from Atlanta, hosted by LifeLink missionaries Jack & Beverly Grondin, arrived at the Mexico base excited and ready to serve God through ministry and hard work.

Each day started with team devotions which prepared the group to give of themselves. The week kicked off with ministry to the children at a local church and preaching in two services.

The group minstered in two different orphanges and included Bible lessons along with a puppet show which was a big hit with the smaller children. Balloon animals provided lots of giggles while the older boys enjoyed a tough game of dodge ball.

Two team members were nurses that set up a station for disinfecting toys and organizing closets, while others painted rooms and window trim.  Everyone was touched by the children’s big smiles while distributing much needed hygiene packs at the end of the day.

A visit to a third orphanage which is government run was very strict, even limiting photos and acvtivities. However, five ladies on the team were allowed to go into the nursery to hold and love on the babies. The older children were delighted watching the puppet show and enjoyed eating hot dogs.

After a week of great ministry and even a work day at the ministry base the group enjoyed a day of local culture and shopping topped off with a “adios dinner” to say “thank you” for all that was accomplished. It was an amazing week and we thank God for the visiting family group from VWC!
