In missions we are solely dependent on God, in life we are solely dependent on God, and certainly in today’s economy we can do nothing but depend on God. However, we do have a part to play in the scheme of things, and that is to do the work we have been given by HIM.

President Obama quoted Saint Augustine in his 10-minute speech at the National Prayer Breakfast this morning. The quote stirred my soul to remember the words of Saint Augustine, and to always pray … without ceasing … knowing that God is in control.

Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.
