Jesus loves the grass freshly cut.

Taking care of a two and a half acre piece of property isn’t easy. With buildings, air conditioners, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping there’s always something to fix or replace.

It’s easy to take the easy way out. It’s easy to not repaint when needed. It’s easy to let the grass grow into a jungle. It’s easy to let trash pile up and blame the trash pickup system of a third world country.

Its not only easy, but it’s cheap.

But is it really? What kind of example would be set? In a ministry such as ours, where the majority of people receiving the blessing are under the age of ten, how are we representing Christ to them?

How would they feel in the priority of things?

Matthew 25:40 – And the King will answer them, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”

Jesus invites us to view all ministry through this lens. When we do things like plant flowers or wash the dust off the roof, it’s for one reason.

Because we’re doing it for Jesus.
